At NaturaBed, our journey began as a deeply personal quest for health, restorative sleep, and sustainable living. We are a small, passionate team brought together by a transformative experience and a shared dedication to natural and healthy living.
Our story began when one of our founders was confronted with persistent health issues linked to conventional, chemically treated furniture. He experienced allergy‑like reactions, breathing difficulties and excessive sweating, which severely disrupted his sleep. The turning point came by chance when he tried a completely natural wool mattress. Not only did his bothersome symptoms disappear, but his sleep quality also improved significantly, resulting in more energy, a better mood and an overall higher quality of life.

This profound personal experience inspired our mission: to find, promote and offer products that are truly natural, completely free from chemicals, pesticides and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Later, we discovered the rewarding experience of promoting handmade, sustainable and artisanal products specifically designed to meet our customers’ needs. Certified, not just claimed
“Natural” is an unregulated term. Anyone can put it on a label. That is why we only work with suppliers and materials certified by independent third parties, because your trust should not rest on our word alone.
GOTS‑certified – The Global Organic Textile Standard is one of the leading certifications for organic fibres. It ensures that the entire production chain, from raw fibre to final product, meets strict ecological and social standards. No toxic dyes, no pesticide‑treated fibres, no greenwashing.
OEKO‑TEX® Standard 100 – Every component of an OEKO‑TEX certified product, including threads, buttons and labels, is independently tested for harmful substances. This means every part that touches your skin has been found safe, not just the outer fabric.
GOLS – The Global Organic Latex Standard is the international certification for natural latex. It guarantees that the latex is sourced from organically grown rubber trees, free from synthetic additives and harmful chemicals. Like GOTS, GOLS covers the entire production chain — from the rubber plantation to the finished product — and sets strict requirements for both environmental and social conditions during production. Only latex that meets these standards may carry the GOLS label.
QUL – QUL is an independent German certification for natural latex that sets strict standards for the purity and origin of the latex used. The certificate not only tests for the absence of harmful substances but also verifies the proportion of pure natural latex in the final product. For anyone who wants to be confident that their mattress or topper is truly made from natural latex and not a blend with synthetic latex, the QUL label provides reliable and transparent proof of quality.
Made with care, not with shortcuts
Mass‑produced bedding is often designed to be cheap to make and easy to ship. Our products are designed with a different priority: how they perform after years of real use. We work with specialised European manufacturers who share our values and source all raw materials ethically. The result is bedding that lasts longer, performs better and contains nothing harmful to you or your family.
