Organic Kapok Pillow

This pillow is filled with natural kapok fibers and offers excellent breathability and temperature regulation, combined with gentle support. Thanks to the use of carefully selected materials, this pillow meets key sustainability standards such as OEKO-TEX, as well as certifications for organic agriculture (kbA). The Organic Kapok Pillow is carefully produced in Europe and is available in all common standard sizes.

Natural Kapok Filling

The filling consists of 100% natural kapok fibers. These light and airy fibers create a high air content within the pillow, contributing to optimal regulation of heat and moisture. This makes the kapok pillow particularly suitable for those who prefer a fresh, dry, and well ventilated sleeping surface.

Choice of Two High Quality Covers

You can customize the pillow according to your preference by choosing from two different types of outer covers:

• Option 1: Smooth outer cover. A smooth cover of 100% organic cotton fine batiste (kbA) with a zipper closure on the short side. The filling is directly in the cover.
• Option 2: Quilted outer cover. A luxurious cover of 100% organic cotton fine percale (kbA), quilted with a fleece filling of 100% organic cotton (kbA) and a lightweight jersey of 100% organic cotton (kbA). This outer cover has a zipper closure on the long side. This option is supplied with a separate inner pillow cover of 100% organic cotton fine batiste (kbA) with a zipper on the short side.

Certifications for Quality and Sustainability

We place great value on pure materials. The cotton covers are organic and kbA certified (controlled organic agriculture) and manufactured according to strict GOTS guidelines. Additionally, the fabric is certified to Oeko Tex Class 1.

Care Instructions

Covers (Tickings): The cotton covers are washable in the washing machine on a delicate program up to 60°C (maximum 800 revolutions). However, to protect the valuable fibers in the fabric, we recommend washing at maximum 40°C. Use a program with plenty of water to prevent strong mechanical friction. Pull the cover into shape while damp and preferably let it dry lying down. Do not dry in the dryer, do not iron and do not bleach.

Filling: The natural filling is not washable. Due to nightly use, the filling can lose some height and volume over time. You can regularly fluff up the loose filling to give the pillow volume again. Air the pillow regularly to regenerate the natural materials. For hygienic reasons, we recommend replacing the natural filling after about 2 to 3 years.

Standard shipping is included in the price. Each product is individually made-to-order. We do not keep stock, but manufacture each product especially for you, with the materials and dimensions you choose. Please allow for a standard production and delivery time of approximately two weeks.
